So there I was, blasting down a fast section of trail with the wind at my back and a song in my heart. All morning had been like this. Little climbs that typically caused major disruptions to pace and flow were mere inconveniences under my powerfully churning legs. Those legs, by the way, felt just as fresh as when they started running two hours earlier.
Oh, if every run could be like this!
