The fact that almost nothing has gone according to plan during this training cycle has become a kind of plan in and of itself. If anything, maintaining day-to-day flexibility bolstered by a backdrop of perspective is the training plan. Not just for the 129th running of the Boston Marathon, but for that little race we call life.
