Shakeout: Into the Great Wide Open
When anything is possible, constructing boundaries can be helpful
For the first time in nearly a decade, there are no competitive races booked on my calendar. That also means there’s no training plan anchoring my schedule, nor are there any future training plans that might be worth building up to in the interim. There’s just running. How novel.
I’m greeting this new era with a mixture of anxious anticipation and tempered expectations. I think things are going to go well in the long run (pun intended, sorry). Still, I don’t really know how or where they're going, or what ‘going well’ would even look like in the future.
In this week’s Shakeout, we explore what it means to be free from rules while remaining focused on fitness. Plus, a 10-minute strength training workout that you can pretty much do anywhere.
