Actually running the race will be hard enough but I am blown away by the mental calculus you have to do (re: gels, drinks, uphill and downhill pace, crew prep, etc, etc). Super excited for you. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
Yeah, wow. I just realized how much there actually is to remember. I do like that part because it keeps you dialed in on the race so you're not worrying about how much farther you have to go or how much your quads hate you. The pacing breakdowns are a total breakthrough for me. Totally changed my approach.
Paul, you are going to absolutely crush this. You've prepared. You know what to do. And it's the most perfect time of year. We all know that you'll do the damn thing and we're all behind you.

also I was gonna let the opening "gosh" slide until you followed it up with a quick "eff it"...
Every first draft has a half dozen curse words in it if that makes you feel better.
it does yes
I knew it! And I appreciate it.
have fun at the race!
That's the idea, right? Thanks, Hoon.

Humbled by the love and support from this group. I'm gonna go run for 9 hours in the Vermont countryside. How awesome is that?
It's the MOST awesome and you're going to love every second of it and all of us will be the push you need when you need it.
